How to set which midi channel is triggered by pressing a key

Post by OboKeyDrum »

Hello,

I have seen two types of behaviour when pressing a key on the keyboard:

1. Only programs in midi channel 1G are played.
2. Programs in midi channels 1G and 2 are played.

Therefore, I assume there must be an option to set which midi channel is triggered by pressing a key. I just cannot find it...

Normally the global midi channel determines this. However, KARMA can interfere with this and "duplicate" midi data to other channels. Check the combi's KARMA pages.

On the Karma GE Setup/Key Zones page there is a parameter labeled Timbre Thru. If this is checked and Karma is turned off then MIDI data passes thru to the output channel for that Karma module. Uncheck it to disable that behavior.

I see, thank you very much! Was starting to doubt myself. ;-)
