I don't know if this has been said in a post before but this a quick tip for people who don't know and might want some extra features to their parts.
To get straight to the point- I use panning. For example I have my synth parts on stereo right which is fed through my mini kaosspad; Then that's connected to my audio interface in input 1 or whatever via RCA connectors.
My drums and such is on stereo left so it gets no FX 'cause it's straight up connected to the audio interface through input 2.
The good thing is that you also get a FX depth parameter via the pan knob.
But everything is in mono
The best master FXs to use for this setup are ones that don't trail like reverb and delay as they are stereo FXs.
korg could also remedy this but just including an option to send audio thru the headphones, but not the master out...either thru an insert fx setting or master fx send

Since the hardware has only one stereo DAC, it's not likely to happen anytime soon.
Ya I just figured how to use the Audio In (E2) for a pattern. I heard you can do this, record it and then export the audio along with your patern into Ableton. Well the recording part and export I haven't figured.
For anyone who hasn't worked with the Audio In yet, here are some tips. I find it better to turn Audio In "off" in the menu. Then choose your Audio In OSC for your part. In order to hear your Audio In you have to hold down the pad to play it and this is louder using it in Chord. Now you can can put filter and FXs on what's playing in.
