I have some backing tracks in wav and I wanted to import them to my SD card for playing it with the Kross player. Is it possible? (without recording them through the audio in)
Thanks!
Can I use mp3 or wav from PC in Kross player with SD card?

Yes you can, only WAV files, no MP3.
Page 90 of the Operation Guide PDF has more detailed instructions but here is the basic info:
1. Using your computer, copy the WAV file into the KORG/KROSS/DATA folder of an SD card that was formatted by the KROSS.
2. Access the MEDIA> FILE page.
3. Select the WAV file that you want to import.
4. Choose the Load Selected function to access the dialog box.
5. Press the OK (MENU) button to execute the import function.
6. In the audio recorder setup window, select the song that you imported, and play it.

Nope mate, this ain't gonna work, can't change tempo on a WAV file. You can change tempo on the fly only in sequences of your MIDI recordings.maykelillo wrote:hi guys could i change the tempo of an audio file imported into kross through the sd card ?? Cheers

The way to do this is to export the file to your pc and open it in Audacity (or another wave editor). You can change the pitch up or down about two semitones. Save it and then reimport it into the Kross. Beyond a tone you'll get some audible artefacts, so it isn't sensible to go further unless you are after a particular effect.
