Hi all. I have a Krome 88 for the sole purpose of of creating tracks for church worship services. The Krome is the ONLY instrument used. I currently have about 27 songs created. The sequences are neither excessively long, nor complex (typically piano, bass, drums, percussion, couple of guitar tracks and a pad/EP or two)
The problem is-although there is plenty of space on me SD card, me file fills up the internal memory. Sure. I could split it into smaller chunks, or even search out the individual songs I need, but that's a real PITA. Is there a way to add memory to the Krome? Or does anyone have tips on reducing file size without losing quality? The size is determined by MIDI events, not empty measures, right?

The sequencer capacity is determined by the number of MIDI events. There is no way to expand sequencer memory.
The only way to reduce the size is to have fewer MIDI events and that would generally cause a loss of quality.
But if you have created layers on multiple tracks on the same MIDI channel you only need to record one track, the others on the same channel will sound when you play back the sequence since they are on the same channel.
For example ... If you create a layered pad on tracks 1, 2 and 3 and assign those 3 tracks to channel 7, you only need to record track 1. This cuts the number of events to a third and can save quite a bit of memory.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. I have decent keyboard skills, so I rarely use more than one track per timbre. I will sometimes do a drum track on a couple of passes, but I just use the overdub feature. Sounds like I'm going to have to go to plan B. It's probably inevitable, as I will be continuing to add new songs to the list. I appreciate the info.
