Stand alone sequencer
I use my kronos for live 1 man performances and I need a spare sequencer to have for a back up in case of kronos failure. I really enjoy the korg sequencers is there a unit a can get (not a computer) to fill this role? Thanks
Kronos 2 61,triton studio 88,roland fantom x 7, Krome ex73, roland Fantom xr, ,roland jv 1010 and gem ws 2 mod

Sure, there are lots to choose from. An AKAI MPC for example, but I don't quite get why your looking for a Sequencer to get you out of a hole if your KRONOS does.
If your KRONOS dies, what good is a Sequencer?
Wouldn't you be better off with an Audio solution that can play back your sequences as Audio files in the event your KRONOS dies. At least that way there's no difference in the sound you can produce on a night.
So maybe a small HDR is better suited. A Zoom R8 ot R16 for example>

I'm sorry I didn't fully explain. I could carry a jv 1010 with a hardware sequencer and finish a gig. the 2 (jv 1010 and sequencer) would be less to carry than another keyboard, not to mention cheaper

I've used an old Yamaha QX-3 before. You can probably find one fairly cheap on E-bay.
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!
