connecting your Krome to your PC and record with a Daw

Post by michel1972 »

I see several topic about that it is difficult to connect your Krome to your pc and record in a Daw, and that you need an audio interface.

If you use cubase like me just load 32 bit version of cubase and then make a new track. Add instrument track and choose the krome plug in editor then when the editor comes up just put it on combi mode and choose your sounds. Then make some new midi tracks but change the midi channels to 2 3 and so on and choose krome keyboard as input and the editor as output. Then you can make 16 tracks of sounds without using a audio interface.

Those are midi tracks that is triggering the sounds from the krome. The audio is not actually being recorded into cubase yet

So no way to export to a WAV or MP3 file actually until you get an interface.
