I have a need to use a cowbell sample from a drum program and incorporate that sound into a Combi. I have some limited success in a keyboard zone that has that specific sample, but I'm struggling with pitching it properly. No matter what I do, the pitch doesn't sound as good as the sample in that drum program. I need to make the pitch a G and right now it's a Bb if I'm correct. Any suggestions on how to isolate and pitch a single drum sample for a combi is greatly appreciated.

set the key zone you want to use the drum sample on (I'm assuming it's a cowbell from one of the kits) transpose the drum track to get the cowbell to sound on the key you've zoned for it then lower the pitch / tuning of the cowbell...I used to do that with handclaps all the time...I could tune them up +1600 to make them sound like a finger snap...hope that helps
