High pitch sound

Post by gewa13 »

There is a high pitch sound coming from the keyboard, right where power cord goes in, when it's turned off in stand by mode. Once I turn the keyboard on the sound is gone. The sound is very week, but I can hear it.

Anyone has any idea what it might be?

It's the same on my PA600. So I usually pull out electrical chord when not using my keyboard.
High pitch sound comes from keyb speakers. Probably due to low quality electrical material I guess.

Pa3x does, not have built in speakers, but you're right about low quality components.

If I plug my kindle in to charge then my pa3x does all sorts of crazy noises.
Also I had a xmas light adapter outside my window. Sometimes I had to turn it off. Look for some appliance near your workstation.
It also sent the DAW off with noises.
