Combi/split damper pedal issue

I want to remove the sustain from the bass in my bass/piano combi/split modes and have only the piano enabled with the damper pedal. There has to be a simple solution that I am overlooking! After frustrating searching, I'm asking for help...anyone? Please?

You can filter out response to the damper pedal for the Bass timbre at the Midi Filter section. P5: Midi Filter uncheck Enable Damper on the Bass timbre.
