Hi,
I think this can be done but I would dearly like someone to confirm it and help me on the way to do it.
I've recorded some melodies (some with Karma, some without) from a Combi into my DAW. They are recorded only in one instance or patch.
Can I in the DAW (I use Cubase) then separate out each timbre into its own instance or patch so I can work on each as needs be.
I should really, I suppose, arrange Cubase so I have 16 instances (covering for the 16 maximum timbres in the O) open before recording.
Anyway, is there anyone who can help me opening 16 separate tracks in Cubase after I've done a recording.
Patrick

I'm ok when I get to the music. The Oasys 88 sees to that.
You can't separate the audio into 16 parts once you've recorded it into a single track
. However, you will be able to record 16 separate tracks from a combi at the same time into your DAW if you use the ADAT option by installing the exb-di in the OASYS and use an interface that supports ADAT, or use audio out cables separately from oasys into an audio interface that has as many inputs.
I've done this using ADAT in the past with OASYS, digi003 and protools. I am sure you can do this in cubase too with an appropriate interface. As far as I know, you can only use cable out option to do this in Kronos as there is no option for ADAT in Kronos.
