SGX-2 and odd sustain pedal behavior
This seems like a bug:
0) Select a program that uses SGX-2 engine
1) Depress sustain pedal
2) Play any note with a relatively high velocity
3) Play same note with significantly less velocity, but keep key depressed
4) While continuing to hold down key, release sustain pedal
The amplitude drops to the level of the second key strike.
I would expect no change in the amplitude for the note played so long as the key remains depressed when the sustain pedal is released (other than dampening of the sympathetic resonance.)
Does everyone's Kronos do this??

I'm not aware of a specific ticketing-type bug-reporting system at Korg, but they do encourage contact. Here's a statement from their website:

I've tried to replicate this, and I think I've followed your steps, but can't seem to get it to happen...however, I've experienced something similar with some of the Kapro symphonic programs. Particularly you mention the striking at high velocity, then having low level notes happen at similarly high velocities. I had wondered in my example if it is related to the aftertouch calibration. For me the problem is reset when selecting another program and going back to the first. I don't think the aftertouch function is enabled on the SGX2 pianos, so maybe not the same problem, but just a thought.
The aftertouch is used in the programs I have noticed this effect happens with, and the velocities of all the notes are lower fro some time until I reset the program.

The companions I can't live without: Kawai Acoustic Grand, Yamaha MontageM8x, Studiologic Numa Piano X GT.
Other important stuff: Novation Summit, NI Komplete Ultimate 14 CE, Omnisphere, EW Hollywood Orchestra Opus, Spitfire Symphony Orchestra, Pianoteq 8 Pro, Roland RD88.

I was also able to replicate this issue on my K2 Ver 3.0.4
