I bought a 3 month old PA4x from a friend which after some time the screen does not pop up, I called KORG and asked them what the policy is and the girl on the other end told me that KORG does not transfer warranty to a second buyer, I explained to her that I am a musician of 31 years and 95 percent of all my keyboard are or were KORG and I also have a Facebook page with a few hundred keyboard players, and it's not a good policy since something this new should be except. I sold a KORG Kronos to someone in Hawai and although it was in mint condition something happened to the keyboard and the local dealer still fixed it for free and it was out of warranty. So now I have to take it to an authorized service center and pay to get this fixed? I also have a problem with that , I don't feel that most service center are capable of doing a good job, I have many bad experiences and one example is that after taking one of my beloved KORG Sigma to get it serviced after getting it back they had glue all over the keys.
So, what do I do? I remember many years back I returned a POLYSIX to KORG and they fixed it so, why not now?
Anyone from KORG to HELP me with a repair of a KORG PA4x?

Maybe, since he is a friend, he could send it in to get fixed?

In many countries its not about Korgs Policies, its about laws they need to obey..
Overhere in Holland we have customer laws, and by law warranty is automatically transfered to the new owner..
So you might want to do some research towards your local laws..
On top of that, if thats really Korgs Pollicy, then its a bloody shame on them..
