Tah-Dah! Another Transatlantic Grey Electribe Collaboration.

Post by apapdop »

Here is the second Grey Electribe Transatlantic Collaboration between myself and roblabs. We started by contributing 8 parts each to a seed pattern, then we took it in turns to create 16 bars worth of music based around that seed pattern. This process was repeated back and forth between us, the seed being tweaked and mutated along the way. Finally all the patterns were played one after the other and this was recorded by the Event Recorder. The Event Recorder file was then played back into my ipad and recorded as audio. Voila...

Here is our first collaboration from 2015 (in case you missed it)...

If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.

I really enjoyed that first track, looking forward to the second movement. I mentioned on SC, this is good, productive work music, which is kind of my main criteria lately. Thank you for the download; I'll likely put this in my daily mix.
