I'm sorry if this is the 109th time we go over this. But I've never gotten it right!!!!
I just purchased a set of sf2 files of Roland D 50 samples.
I put em on my flash drive. Loaded the ones I want into a program slot
( GG 01). I edit it, add effects, release, etc...... Sounds great!!!!
I save the program. When I reboot. The program name is there but no sound
I've also copied and pasted the folder with all the sf2"s onto my internal hard drive from the flash drive.
How in the wold do I make it so every time my Kronos is turned on its all still there?!?!
It was only 6:95 but there's some good Roland d50 sounds on there that I'd love to use on live gigs.
Help anyone?
A simple 1,2,3 order of how to save the program/ sample whatever would be really appreciated. Thank you.
Saving sf2files permanently onto Kronos program.

Load sf2 file on a usb stick, insert into kronos.
1. In disk mode find usb drive, then utility, in drop down menu press copy.
2. Go to internal HD and paste (you may want to create a new folder first).
3. Press load, direct the program where you want it.
4. Still in disk mode, your samples will be in the sampler, stay in disk mode and press save. Then in drop down menu press "save sampling data"
5. Now go into Global and press "kc auto load", then "add ksc".
Then you will find your program name with "userBank" after it, select that program, then press add.
You can now do autoload or just restart and you're good to go.
I might add, when creating sf2 files for kronos make sure your sample names are very short, maybe 3 letters or so, otherwise the machine will think it's a combi.
