Korg sound app live sound delay to bluetooth speaker iPadPro

Post by MichelPM »

I am using a Korg MicroKey Air 61 key keyboard controller with an iPad Pro connected via USB to Lightnng cable to play sounds from the Korg Sound Module app on my iPad Pro.
I am trying to output the live sound through Bluetooth speaker, but experiencing a 1-2 second delay in the sound arrivng to the Bluetooth speaker.
There is no such delays using the iPad Pro's internal speaker system or using small travel speakers through the headphone jack of the iPad Pro.
The sound isn't lound enough from the iPad Pro's speakers and only a little better from the connected travel speakers through the iPad Pro's headphone jack, but there is distortion a higher levels that these tiny speakers can't handle.
I have better sounding Bluetooth speakers I would like to use.
Anyone having similar problems and issues with trying to use the Korg sound apps over Bluetooth on ANY iPad and specific to the iPad Pro?
Is there any type of fix or workaround for this?

You need speakers/amp that accepts a wired connection. Bluetooth is not for live performance as there will always be a delay. If your speakers have 3.5 mm input then use this.
