Good drum kits for PA600

Hello guys,

I am not happy with the drum kit sounds available in PA600. Don't know if it is only me, or do you guys agree. May be we can modify it, but out of the box I don't feel they are very good, feel like too much low frequency (dull).

Anyone have a clue of some good drum kits. How about Dynamix natural drum kit?

Wonder if Yamaha PSR970 got better sound and better drum kits. Anyone there with some experience with PSR pls?

I only have a pa300, however I have had a PSR-S750 for a week now. Yes I do like the Yamaha drums better, the sounds are very pristine. Problem with Yamaha is, the sequencer is crap....I am not a karaoke live performer so to me the Yamaha is pretty useless even though the sounds are top notch. It has 38 super articulation sounds, 18 megavoices, and many other special voices. It basically packs the same sonic power as a Tyros 2 I had, which again, had great sounds but the same crap sequencer with no edits.

The PSR-S750 is the contender to the PA600. Great sounds, but that's all you get. The PA600 has 96 mb of sampling Ram....as drum sounds are very short sounds, it should not be hard to find a custom made drum kit for the PA600.

I emailed the seller of PA Manager because I am trying to understand if with it and with a Korg pa600 with sample ram, one can sample without other additional software, but I received no replies.

BTW, the psr-s970 is not a fair comparison with the PA600.....not even with the PA900, because the psr-s970 came out in 2015.

The psr-s950 would be the equivalent of the pa900

There are lots of audio demos. Pa3x and Pa600 demos are the same.

Dynamix Drums Kits are awsome. Especially Oil Drums. They are like 15mb. You can check Nashville/Sonor/Live too, but i think Oil are better. In their sets u can find Crunch Guitar, MusicMan BAss, Contra guitar. Well, with these drums and these sounds, factory styles are much better.

Did you load the "Real Drumkits" which were on the Korg CD provided with the PA600 ?
I found them quite good.
They are included and used in many styles I merged in the Dopamine Set, if you want to give them a try and can't find the Korg CD.
