Switch the keyboard to a different midi ch in combi mode

Hi All,

i am playing with combis here and was trying to configure a way I could use the whole keyboard over different timbres in Kontakt.

I setup one combi with zones/splits using different midi channels to control different kontakt instruments and worked fine.

What I wanted to do now (in a different combi) is to be able to switch the whole keyboard to different midi channels / kontakt instruments.

Is it possible? The solo feature may help?

I did read the operations and parameter guide and could get closer but still not perfect.

The play/mute buttons would cut the sending of midi for a given track and I could mute and unmute some tracks to achieve close to the desired result.

The solo button would be ideal but surprisingly it doesn't cut the midi of the other tracks (the ones not soloed) when in the manual it say it would. And it also blocks the audio input so it still sends all midi and doesn't receive any audio.

Ideas?

Have you tried sequencer mode? I suspect the active track selector would do exactly what you want.
