Another question about operation software installation

I'm expecting my PA4X to come into today but know it won't have the latest operating software. Can i go to the latest version, or do you have to go from one after, whichever i might have and keep doing it until i get to the newest version?

Also how difficult is it and how long does the install take? Do you download it into a USB stick and then into the keyboard. Sorry for all the noob questions.

You can download and install the latest version without any problems.
Latest version update 1.20 was released today.
