Syncing issues b/w Volca Sample and FM

Post by dr. spaceman »

Anyone else having syncing issues between the sample and the fm? Whether I switch between the Sample or the FM, I get skipping beats or notes, depending on what's sync'd in/out. I'm just using the stereo cables between provided from each, with a multi stereo 3.5 splitter: https://i.imgur.com/zph1Fwb.jpg

I have heard that the Volcas can exhibit sync issues if you use cable splitters like that. You should really be using a mixer. I'd say that's the issue if it works fine without the splitter attached.

Thanks for the input. Any recommendations for a decent mixer on a budget? Say around the $100 range?

Sorry no, I can't make any recommendations, I use a 20 year old mixer I still have (Spirit Folio Notepad) or direct to DAW on individual channels. I'm not sure what's good in the current market.
