Octatrack + e2
Is anyone on here using the e2 together with the Octatrack? I 'm seriously considering an octa but i still need some justification for my purchase. Is this a good duo? What is your workflow (sequencing the e2 with octa, capturing e2 loops and process them with octa,...)

I just added an E2 and Octatrack to my studio, but I'm still learning both of them, however, I got them specifically for live use, I'll hopefully be posting more on this soon....Octahedron wrote:Is anyone on here using the e2 together with the Octatrack? I have my Octatrack for a month or two now. And i must say: sequencing the e2 with the octa is serious fun. Up to 10 midi ccs per track via midi learn which can be plocked plus three additional midi lfo's per track.
Independent track lengths so 8 or 16 bars no problem (with reduced step resolution).
I record some variations of a drum loop from the e2 to the octa and then use the e2 just for synths so that saves polyphony. Or record a bas line and mangle it into oblivion...
Theres just so many possibility's with this combination. But i'm still learning so any suggestions are welcome.

I am eyeing an octatrack so if you have any tips or recommendations I would love to hear how you are working the 2 togetherOctahedron wrote:I have my Octatrack for a month or two now. I use both together and have been for the past year. E2 is used as a sound module sequenced from the Octa and I also play the E2 live on some parts and use it as a midi controller to enter notes into the Octa.
Here are some videos of me using it if you are interested.
