Hi all
I finally made the move from my PA900 to the PA3X. I have a few issues which I would appreciate some expertise please:
1. The screen has a vertical blue line right in the middle of the screen. Will this affect my performance live on stage? Shall I have it checked/repaired?
2. My PA900 set won't load right away. Not All my sounds aren't playing. When I load my set, it says "not enough memory" - i mean that's crazy right? Or am I crazy??? There aren't any other sets on the HD. I am loading my set from my USB.
3. I have a few sounds that are playing and I want to assign the lower parts to output from the audio output 1. How do I do that? I want this as I want a bass to play from a separate channel on my mixer without any effects.
TIA.
Tash.

Hello!
Congratulations for getting the 3x!!!
It IS a big upgrade and pa3x is a great machine to own!!
I can answer to the 2 first questions!
1)If you can see what is written under the line and the touch panel works, then no problem for live performance, the problem is only visual!
Also changing the screen is not cheap and you may have to wait long to get it repaired at a korg service center (there is a case here on korgforums that is still unsolved for more than 3 months now).
2)If the pa3x you got has 128mb installed and not 256mb then you can't load the pa900 set right away as pa900 has 192mb ram..
You have to load up to 128mb, then compress all samples and then load the rest of the sounds (all or in parts depending on the available memory)and then compress again!Another option is to upgrade it with the 256mb ram module!
Congratulations for getting the 3x!!!

Hi natasha
Congratulations on getting the PA3X
I may (repeat "may") have a PA3X 256MB RAM card and PA3X Video card for sale.
Good luck with the screen - worth getting it checked out. I hope the person you bought it from will compensate you!!!
Did you know about the screen problem when before you bought it?
Pete
