Still haven't fixed Audio In bug.
Disappointed to install os 3.0.4 and find that combinations still don't load Audio In fx settings. IMO this is a major flaw. The fx work fine if you change a value in Audio In, but when you go to another combi and come back, the value is always at zero, even though the value numbers show correctly. This renders the fx capabilities useless in live performance..when it matters the most. Hard to believe this hasn't been corrected in five years.
MFX send values to audio input fix imminent
The MFX send values assigned to audio inputs have never worked correctly.
I have actually spoken to Korg about this recently and they are trying to fix it. It should get sorted on the next OS update.

I can confirm that this is being worked on currently.kshacklett wrote:Disappointed to install os 3.0.4 and find that combinations still don't load Audio In fx settings. IMO this is a major flaw. I also just checked it out. The issue is a bit different from the way it's described above. If the input is assigned to L/R, FX Send 2 uses the value stored for FX Send 1. If you assign the input to a bus other than L/R - for instance, if you route it through IFX - there don't seem to be any issues. Your workaround for now would be to route inputs through IFX, which appears to work properly.

Hmm.. I'll try to make sense of that. Thanks. The board I'm putting through the Kronos has its own fx..so that's my first workaround...but the Kronos fx are better.
P.S. Still have never come across a board with a more playable and convincing sax than the modeled sax in my Yamaha EX5...which is the main reason I still lug the thing around. Hoping Korg will develop an engine for the Kronos someday...hopefully approaching something this good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fs1rk6M-n60
