Use of old "Performances" with PA4X

Somewhere I read that performances from say a PA900 could be loaded as a direct set and they would be converted by the keyboard to a keyboard set. Is this correct and how exactly does that work.

i have load my pa3x performances in to my pa4x and 99% work fine just one or two that don't use factory sounds , i had to change some of them.

Duby,
When you said you "loaded your PA3X Performances into the PA4X" what exactly did you do? Where did you load them? I'm a PA4X newbie.

I have a full back up of my pa3x and just like loading in styles or sound you also have perfomances I loaded them in the user performance ,of the pa4x, not the factory , if you take off the protect in globle you could load them there also, and the performance do not link to any styles, as the pa3x did ,
