WAAAAAAY new at this; any possible way to delete a whole ba

Post by ewillyp »

so here's the story or you can skip to the paragraph below for the situation. been after a sampler for a long time and my bass player (i sing and tweak knobs) just gave me one and said: here, knock yourself out. but I went and did a stupid thing and just filled this thing up w/ a bunch of nonsense that I will never use and it's just taking up space. so i want to start from scratch.

I want to clear all the banks at once if possible (i know the ROM can't be deleted) but just want to know how, from the unit or the editor, to delete entire banks? I want to start from scratch.
or is there a way to create empty banks to replace the other banks with? thanks in advance.

I have yet to find a way to initialise the entire memory on startup, but see Page 22 of the manual. Select INIT.BANK and press WRITE. Rinse and repeat for each bank.

Happy sampling :-)
