Loading more than one sample set on SD Card

Post by madahorn »

If I follow the direction for each sample ie. [Copy the 3 files (META.IMG, SAMPLE.IMG, the PCG file) on the root of your SDCARD : they must not be in a directory, in order to load the samples.]

I would end up with many Meta.img and Sample.img files...Meta(1), Meta(2), Meta(3), etc.

Do I just copy one set of them and then each individual PCG?

That is what I have done so far and my Krome only loads the E200 Wurly sample every time I start and if I select another sample, the name comes up in the F bank, but still with Wurly samples.

There seems to be no direction on how to manage more than one sample set on an sd card. Thanks!

Krome can only load one sample set (one META.ING and one SAMPLE.IMG) at a time...if you want to load samples from different sets, you'll have to make your own IMG files - Kromatic is probably the best tool to use for this...and there is a limitation on the size of these files, too, so all the samples you want may not fit...this is just my understanding of how Krome can load samples, there's no official documentation...
