Sudosonic Korg Kronos Tutorial

Post by dkalna »

Hi there

I have bought new Kronos 2 73 last month and try to learn the beast.
I have found Sudosonic Korg Kronos Tuorial but I assume it is made for
Korg Kronos (the old one). Shall I buy it or will it only confuse me? I do
not know how much those 2 Kronos generations differ from each other.

Any advice? Thank you a lot.
Best regards

I'm not sure if there are many differences between all the Kronos variations regarding overall operation etc.
The basics probably are the same.

A suggestion would be is to look at the current videos to find out if their instruction method suits your learning method.
(We all have preferences how to learn things).

I've included an old link that have interesting comments......reading them all may help as some have good suggestions.

hi Pedro

thank you for your response. i will surely check those comments out. I have received answer from sudosonic:

It's shot with the old OS but it's still applicable because they didn't change that much, they mainly added a couple short cuts and added more sounds.
Best regards

I look at all the stuff and information available...including this forum. I bought it when I purchased my original Kronos. I like it!

I've only seen a couple of their KK tutorial videos (promotional ones and on YouTube)
They look OK and I think the "model & OS differences" are probably quite easily handled once you have all the basics.

But there are many other freely available tutorials on youtube that might help.

Not bad for USD70 though.

All the best

Well said, karmathanever! I completely agree.
You just can't lose for $70.

I've purchased the Sudosonic Tutorials about two years ago when i got my Kx.
I should say they are OK. But its more like an introduction sort of thing.
Makes you familiar with the different pages and page tabs and functions that Kronos is capable of doing.
But it doesn't go very deep and basically it doesn't teach you how to do certain things. For more serious stuff i guess you should find other tutorials which are available on youtube and also you should seek help here in the forum.
Members here are awesome! So helpful...!

But once again if its your first time having a complicated sunthesizer(like me) i guess its a good idea to get those tutorials and watch them.

Hope this helps, and sorry for my English
