Macintosh Computer does not recoginize SQ - 1

Hi folks: I didn't know where else to post this. My Macintosh computer (10.9.5) does not recognize my Korg SQ-1 via USB. I tried installing the driver (1.2.3 r 5), but it still doesn't work. My computer thinks it is a MOTU fast lane MIDI interface.

weird ! i've got the 10.6.8 snow, it's works like a charme... 10.9 does this mac os version run under El Captain ?

Yes, I am running OS 10.9.5 on the computer in question.
