Saving Your PA4X Setups

Post by Deane »

I have about 100 songs setup in my Songbook and twice that many in my
USER Favorites 1-5. I want to save them to a thumb drive so I could reload them in case they get messed up or deleted.

How do I do that? I don't want to do a complete system backup right now.

Hi Deane

Just "save" as a SET in MEDIA mode.
You can optionally select just the SONGBOOK and STYLEs (etc...) if that is all you want to save.

MEDIA >> "save" TAB >> "All" >> New Set >>
Name the set and it's location (e.g. USB, HD etc...)
Then select the components you want to save (or all of them)

I would recommend to save it all - it doesn't really take up much space.

But, no need to perform a full system backup unless you have edited factory styles etc....

Cheers

Thanks Pete,
Worked great! I have many hours now customizing my PA4X. Would hate to lose anything now.

Hi Deane,

It looks like you are making peace with the Pa4X. Good deal.
