Keyboard advise

Post by Mnordex »

I'm thinking about buying a keyboard to teach music at home and on several locations. Where I teach music they use Yamaha keyboards. I've noticed that Roland and Korg also offers keyboards. I've learned a keyboard is just like a computer, after 3 years it's old / dated. And the Korg keyboards are about that age or even older (PA300, PA600, PA900).
So I don't know if it's better to wait for a new keyboard with updated sounds and possibilities or... The Korg PA3X LE looks and sounds very good to me for what I've seen on YouTube movies but it doesn't have speakers on board and I don't need 76 keys.

Who can give me a good advise? I'm looking for a keyboard with a very good sound keyboard, 128 polyphony, with a 16 track sequencer, the possibility to create my own styles and save them, speakers on board, a compact light weighted instrument.

I think pa900 its the best choice for you. I had same dilema but i bought pa3xle in the end. And im happy with my choice even if its a bit too long and have no speakers.
