Program to create samples PA600 ???

Post by Hugo Olivares »

Hello everyone,
know some free program that allows me to create a sound from WAV samples for my PA600 .
I possess many WAV sound samples from other keyboards and seems to have PCG according to tranform I was researching .
Can somebody help me?

If you look for free program, good luck, you not only one, let us know if you find one, many people already look for.
As importing samples, ... well, maybe you got different way to make sounds, but Pa600 Sounds are created on Multisamples, which they build from Wav samples and I'm positive KPM do this :)

V2 of what?
If you talking about hacked version of OS version someone try to sale on YouTube,..... no, is not save, is not authorize by Korg, is illegal, you can permanently damage your keyboard,... and most important on this forum we not support any of this issue.
....wrong question on wrong forum....

Haahaahaha again a question about this OS? Omg...
You will not damage your keyboard but it is not official and crashes under certain moves so i can say it is not perfect. As it is not official and so illegal, if you install any hacked os you permanently lose your warranty and korg repair centers may refuse to fix your keyboard if anything goes wrong without changing your CPU board (the higher priced part of any synth/arranger).
Also nobody will be able to help you except the one who sells it.
I strongly disagree with selling others property, even more when it is an illegal hack.(other hacks are legal but this one isn't and can be considered a crack instead).

Thanks, never seen this around, since i am not yet a Korg PA user...

However, this promisses to do everything one needs to prepare a performance.. and it comes at a very decent price (and there is a mac version)

Yeah Korg pa manager is the best solution for any korg arranger (limited support on 4x yet)!

Illegal?

I don't know. If I buy something I own it. If I want to write a new OS for it then I would. Nothing illegal about that.

But if I go selling my OS or even distributing it...

Dear ,
For example, the PA600 is compatible with other Soundbank Other models KORG . ( Kronos , Krome , M50 ) .
I ask this because the Awave Studio 11.1 transforms files to WAV format files PCG but for those versions mentioned.

Yes it IS illegal if you modify EXISTING and COPYRIGHTED software like this part of the OS pkg file that needs modification for the sampling menu to be enabled.
If you want to write a new os from scratch which will outperform korg's one you are free to do so but you have to find a way to install it afterwards as the pkg structure is non standard and written by korg too and is being loaded by a copyrighted piece of code so you have to replace that code too!
Yes you can do whatever you want with YOUR machine but if you decide to share (paid or free, code or tips, pkg or tutorial ,doesn't really matter) you are going into the illegal side of things.

Nope. You cant do it this way. You need Korg Pa Manager for importing KMP or another PA model, like pa900/3x/3xle.

Those instruments have a totally different stucture... Not based on the EDS sampling engine from the pa series...
