Can anyone tell me how to "split" the keyboard so I can have brass on one side and piano on the other? help

Well, before entering your question, some tips.

A good and objective title/subject is always handy to 'keep the house organized'. And if your gear/question is on TR model, there is a specific area for Le/TR, certainly more adequate.

That split is tipically achieved with a COMBI setting, and in TR you have a bunch of such kind of settings that you can use as a reference. But, as a quick help:
» enter in "Program Select" menu and set your brass sound for position 01 and your piano soung for position 02;
» make sure that in menu "Prm1" both positions 01 and 02 are not set to "Off" or else they will not sound;
» finally, in "KeyZ" set the keyboard zone each sound (for example, your brass from bottom note until B3 and your piano starting in C4)

Your combi should be ready. Now you can tweak it at your taste ! :-)
