Roland 909 day is September 9th 33 products to drop

Post by jpeg »

Roland is releasing 30+ new things on 909 – September 9

http://cdm.link/2016/08/roland-releasin ... ptember-9/

They’re doing launches in multiple categories – synths, keyboards, DJ stuff, but also video equipment.

Hopefully Roland will show korg how its is done; if we can get a small groovebox with sample and synth capability and good computer integration with its own software, its a wrap for korg.

Ohhhh boy. This is really exciting. I'm hoping they release a new sampler because the sp404sx is dated AF and the clunky interface and lack of midi clock functionality really need to be updated.

That and I'm hoping they release a new workstation so that They drop the price on the FA06 :D

30+ items.... That is nuts.

I think the ACB sampler will be coming as per the rumour; Im think to sell the electribe now.

But I think they are releasing 33 products to celebrate 33 years since the TR909.

Yeah they are, that's the reason the date is 9/09. I hadn't heard about the ACB Sampler, researching now...

sl23 wrote:I so hope Roland stomp all over korg with their new releases, korg are one of the shittiest companies around. No clue what their users actually want or even need, they just take the piss out of their userbase.
so how many Korg products do you own? many people still enjoy the volca range they aint ground breaking but they are cheap and cheerful.

the only low end product that was totally on point was the korg minilogue but the others have been limited for no reason u are correct.

By „userbase” you mean yourself and other guys „professionally” wasting time on forums instead of making actual music?

You don't like Korg - fine. Why do you even bother posting here?

Just take your shitty, miserable attitude somewhere else.
