Report this post button

Post by fcoulter »

On some forums I've been a member of, there's a "report this post" button which sends a message to the Powers That Be that there's something wrong with a post. Usually a violation of the forum rules, like spam.

This morning I noticed a whole bunch of spam posts. It would be nice if we had a "report this post" button to bring them to the attention of The Powers That Be sooner.

Unless the focus of the forum has changed from Korg keyboards to testosterone aids. Then those posts belong.

Hello.

I'm not sure it would speed things up. As it stands right now, moderators are cleaning the forum daily. The problem is the spam itself needs to be stopped and we can't be on here 24/7.

A $1 registration fee going forward for new members would stop spam dead in the water, and it would allow us to buy a new Toy every month or two to give away to some lucky person.

Regards
Sharp.

I'd be willing to toss a buck into the bucket.
