Pitch-AMS...

Post by joyel »

Hello--- how to.:

Path.:
User-B singin Sine Pad Karma AT
I wanna start from this preset.
I like move JS-Y (down) and block position via SW2.

----- Now question----
I would like every touch key(chord), something similar to increase pitch and stay on good note.

So if i press D4, the sound start from example C4 and increase in example short time (8th) to D4 and stay on that D4, until i move on my hand to another chords...

So i try.:
OSC--->OSC MAIN--->PITCH AMS assing to LFO,
seq/lfo -- >LFO1---> Key sync on---> Time to 8th---> change waveform to saw up expression---> but this repeating lfo... and i don't wanna that.

I would like to only once. from C4 to D4 and stay.... on D4.
Hope that clear....

If I understand what you're trying to do, I think you need to apply an envelope to the pitch instead of LFO. The sustain level would be +/-0 and you can adjust the starting pitch and timing to taste.

@voxg...
Probably right, cause lo is repeating...
I do workaround, for that. and use for pith ams
Step sequencer 16th or 32 th, one shot.

but with envelope could be even more complex... amazing:)

@voxg
I just sitting and trying to do this with Amp EG.
It's work but not like i want...

Example.:
I hit D4 on kronos... I would like to hear C4 glis to D4.

So AMS pitch i assing to Amp EG.
Change attack envelope to increase example from 0 to 50.

Now i have glis but from D4 to E4 or far more depend of intensity...
And this isbecause i can't set attack from -50 to 0...

Is that right?

I'm not sure what synth engine you're using, but the Amp EG is not what you want. You want the Pitch EG. And you don't have to mess with the AMS for pitch at all.

In HD-1, it's "OSC / Pitch" -> "Pitch EG" where you'll set the envelope. (Level: Start = -20, everything else +0. Time: Attack = 50 to start) then in "OSC 1 Pitch" and "OSC 2 Pitch", set the Pitch EG Intensity all the way up.

In AL-1, set up the envelope under "EG" -> "EG2(Pitch)". Then go to "OSC / Pitch" -> "Pitch EG/Mod" and set OSC1 and OSC2 EG Select to EG2(Pitch) and the intensity to +12.00.

The engine of that path is MOD7

In that case, you can setup one of the EGs (say, EG9) as described in my previous post. Then in "Osc" -> "Osc Main" select EG9 as the Pitch AMS with the intensity at +24.00.
