Need help figuring out what's routed to SW1 mod on a program

Post by KronosCray »

I am wanting to use the lead synth patch "Scary Sprites Lead" in a combi. However this program has the SW1 mod engaged. The combi I have created does not have SW1 engaged. So when I import the program, the sound changes since the SW1 is no longer on. I am trying to find what parameter it is assigned to, so that I can figure out how to keep the original sound but have the SW1 turned off. It almost sounds like an odd chorus effect gets engaged when the SW1 is turned off.

I've scanned over every paged at least a dozen times and cannot seem to find the Assigned Modulation Source connected to SW1. Can anyone help me? It would be immensely appreciated!

Thanks

To see what it is assigned to go to P0: Play 0–7: Controller View/Effect.

For that patch you will find SW1 assigned to cc80. But I don't think there is any easy way to find out exactly what cc80 is controlling unless you look through every page.

There was an old thread discussing that but no answer ...

SW1 is assigned via MIDI CC#80 to the EXi2 amplitude modulation in order to play/mute it. Check under Amp/Driver. So you could modify this part of the program depending on what you want to do.
