transfer tracks to DAW
How to transfer ALL separate audio tracks from a finished song to DAW? Help appreciated thanks
First there is no audio tracks created by the PA 600 or 300.
It does put out audio.
That's how you get audio into your DAW you plug the audio outputs of the PA into your Audio Interface.
You can plug it into your sound card and see if that's good enough if you don't have an audio interface.
Just record it.
I sync it up with midi clock and send style control midi to it and record the output then it's in time with my song etc.

Thank you, I realize there is only an audio out, bad explanation from me. I was looking for a way to transfer all tracks of the finished song/style to DAW for final mixing, manipulation.. Is there a way to transfer these digital/MIDI tracks to DAW (Garageband), all at one time synced with midi clock? or somehow using USB stick?
I guess individual tracks of a finished song could be transferred one by one as audio by muting all the others?/
Thanks
P.S.
I see that on the D-Series recorders, you have the ability to record your Song and then export individual tracks or the entire song as separate .wav files. I can't believe the newer technology couldn't do the same.
Sorry Just realized D1200 was a recording studio

Sure, export the song as a midi file .mid.
You may have to put it on a stick then transfer it manually.
But you would have your DAW with a bunch of midi tracks.
What would you do then? Use soft synths to make the sound?
You understand midi has no sound, it's only instructions how what sound to make and how to make it so you need a sound module/synth etc.
It's back down to if you work with a computer DAW setup you need an audio interface.
You can put the midi in the DAW then send it to the PA and record the sound it makes but you need the interface.
You sync it up by sending midi clock from the DAW to the port where your PA is.
Then in the PA you set the clock to external midi. (global/midi)
Then the pa won't run until you hit play in the DAW.

thank you so much for taking the time. I just did not give it enough thought to research and put things in proper order. I stupidly assumed that I could transfer all tracks in a song from 600 to DAW or Tascam DP32SD as independent audio tracks, not only as the mixed down single stereo audio file. As I am mainly(90%) interested in recording audio tracks to DAW or Tascam I guess the solution is to mix on 600, transfer, and then record additional track/s for final mixdown, or record one by one. Thanks again

In my Opinion; best way to record separate Audio tracks from Pa600 is:miamivlad wrote:How to transfer ALL separate audio tracks from a finished song to DAW? Help appreciated thanks
Record song using Backing Sequence in SEQUENCER mode, then using Solo Track from page menu record audio one by one track to DAW, then sync them and Mixdown and Master them together.
