Sorry SolMan for the late response. I had computer problem, bad motherboard, and had to travel a lot here lately.
For what it's worth. I purchased the FCB1010 and have used a little bit. From what I can say right now, it is worth every penny I spend, especially with others being a lot more. Since I am not gigging, like you, it's more than enough. I love it so far. The free editor makes a big difference in programming.
Hope this answers your question and helps somewhat. Again sorry for the late response.

Have you used the Behringer controller with your Korg? Was it a straightforward hookup? I am getting ready to order a Pa4x and was considering the EC-5 controller for ease of setup.
This would be for personal enjoyment at home, not gigging.
Thanks
I been using FCB1010 on Korg and not only, This foot controller can control at same time up to 10 midi devices, sending separate MIDI messages, is kinda tricky on beginning, but if you learn how program is piece of cake.
Currently I enjoy using FCB1010 as DNC sound controller, is awesome
Normally DNS sounds has assign 2 sound controllers, which are on Board, but you can improve and extend to more if you needed,... and FCB1010 has possibility to control them.
Long story short, FCB1010 is MIDI controller, means you can send any midi message you want to sent, but EC-5 has limitation to only what OS let you do it.

I have to give Nemik and Karmathanever a big THANK YOU for helping me answering questions with this. Especially NEMIK a super great THANK YOU for helping me getting the programming off the ground. I am still not 100% and still run into some issues, on my part. However, I am getting there as soon as I have time. Work is just crazy right now.

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at the online help for the unit and it looks straightforward for what I would want to do.

Nemik, this would be a fabulous idea. That will help pure novices like me
to get less frustrated and really learn from experienced users like you.
Thank you very much.
