Sold my PA 4X 76 key
Hey folks,
I sold my PA4x today for $2650 and I think the person bought this got a great deal.
Feel a little bad don't regret it and going to my Motif XF as a main instrument.
I think PA4x is a great arranger for the features but I could just not make myself switch from motif / psr setup. There are so many free styles that users share for the PSR and the level of support from Yamaha is fantastic on the forum.
There are two type of users. The performing musicians who know how to use the machine and many a times are too busy to share content and learning. Then there are hobbyists and these people share content and information much more on the forum. The problem is that the novice users can sometimes drive the perception around the product especially arrangers.
The folks here have been wonderful but I really think Korg needs a digital strategy to go with the arranger.
PA4x is great but where Korg arranger department falls short is evangelism and driving of the community.

Good luck with your plans
No point in keeping an arranger if you need a workstation as your main board even though the pa4x has some excellent workstation functions.
Personally I think Yamaha have a fair way to go yet in terms of arrangers. I loved yam up to my 6700 but my 910 and Tyros just did not cut it for me.
It's all about personal needs in the end
All the best
Cheers

I agree pa4x too much complicated and no Comme forum pour the tyros Where I had 1 2 4 and 5.
I read English in no way and the notification of 1074 pages is of no use to me.
Example: I search a function to Put pedale assignable.
Easy to make, But if I want Credit pause on 1 title, me to me Found with this station wagon on my pedal on all my songs
How I can allocate A function there But by song
ex song 1 I pause want song 2 I want to make defiler text song 3 I want arreter pad not etc etc????
If you solution Have I am taker, take UNO in the car this Manip - on tyros simple percentage A child's play

Where did you see support from Yamaha on the forums? They dont even have dedicated arranger forums... true, the psr tutorial and other places are wonderfully helpfull, but its just users helping users...harshalnaidu wrote:Hey folks,

what i love about the psr tutorial forums is how people share their selfcreated stuff freely.. and there are definately some jewels among the self created styles...

But there is no room for arranger discussion on Motivator, nor on the new Yamaha synth site, thats where the Yamaha product specialists reside after abandoning Motivator some time ago.
