I think you can set keyboard type but I don't think you can really "break" anything as such.

Possibly true - I personally would not take the risks - my KK and other Korgs are worth too much to me in a "working" state!!

I have been searching for some data to get to the place on the Kronos 2 that tells me my current configuration as in firmware and subsystem versions. Probably if it told me how much memory and disk space is available would be nice too. While I am at it I am looking to find what the Maximum amount of a second ssd and what if any Memory added would be recognized.
