New/Updated Kronos on the Way?

I usually agree with GregC and enjoy his posts. But, I am thinking the K2/ls88 will almost probably come to the U.S. To me it seems illogical to only manufacture it for the far east. I do think it would be far more relevant than a K2 that is "gold". I am used to and enjoy the "black ones"; and I consider a synth touch 88 a real "significant" addition. While, on the other hand, I would catagorize the "gold" one as superficial addition. Why not pink with purple polka dots? At least the Ls88 appeals to those who have played for a long time and who prefer the organ like action...(it is lighter too)....me!

I don't want to discuss the other mentioned items as they are not relevant to this discussion as this is the "kronos forum". So, as far as the Kronos is concerned, I am still hopeful. However, I am glad the K2 is not superceded!

Earlier in the topic, it was a puzzle where the LS was seen. Given the time, I now agree, I think the the LS will be available in the US and Europe, Australia, etc.

Maybe a prototype was shown at Gakki. And that Korg needed some more time to show it further. My guess is that it will be at NAMM

they have a plan. we just don't know it

How about a Kronos softsynth? Something that we could run in a VST? (Or allows us to add polyphony to our existing Kronos using a PC?)

That'd be cool but highly unlikely

would Korg have to pay royalties to MS for that ? or to another host ?

not assuming that everything is free and open to build on

I have a new in the box kronos-x...would love to trade for the ls...Its my backup keyboard...never opened yet
