Just for my understanding, if i select a factory style and make changes, i can nit save that style to a free position as a user style... (i have factory protection on)
So the only way to edit a factory style, is first make a copy of it as a user style, and then eddit it.
Did i miss something? Am i doing something wrong? Somehow this works counter intuitive for me... when using a factory style, i often edit them to my personal likings with every song...just to find out i cant save my realtime edits..

Thanks for your answers, but i prefer to keep the factory styles locked... because as you said, its quite easy to use the songbook for atyle settings... but if you change the factory styles,... will it also change the ones you linked to in the soundbook? I will keep them locked untill i have an answer on that..korg1 wrote:Go to Global ---> Menu ---> Mode Preferences and uncheck ''Factory Protect''.
Now you can edit factory styles, sounds, pads, etc.
Another way of twicking styles, not talking about heavy editing, but changing mix and Fx,Bpm or STS ,is to do it through songbook mode.
There is more then enough user banks for styles.. i think i will just have to get used to this..
Thanks for your reply..
