Using Krome with Mainstage 3

I'm a bit confused as to how the mapping of the Krome is possible as it has no sliders to assign a slider on Mainstage to. What do i use instead of a slider? Do I have to use a Midi Controller with it instead? Does anyone know? help would be thankfully reeived...I thought I could use a Krome as a midi controller.

Korg NanoKontrol 2 adds plenty of Sliders, Knobs and Transport Control buttons.
