Why does the one cancel out the other when
Layering 2 tones in the effects section?
Ie layer piano with effects then layer a pad with effects piano loses effects???
I make sure effect boxes are checked before loading the tone into the user mode but still one cancels out the other???
In Combi mode layering question?

Not sure exactly what your question is but I know that the RAM can only process a certain amount of information at once.

Yep you can only copy one lot of FX from a Program to a Combi.morty wrote:Why does the one cancel out the other when

However what you can do is manually put back in the "key" effects for each sound. For example you might route one voice into IFX 1 and 2 and another voice into IFX 3, 4 and 5. I have a heap of keyboard splits programmed into my Krome and use this method all the time to preserve unique FX chains for each voice.
Obviously it has limitations but I find it works more than adequately for live use.
