Totally agree. I used to have a Yamaha P120 with such a case - it was great!

When I got my RD700nx (a 25kg/55lb board), the Gator case came with one central handle, instead of the 2 staggard ones on top. A retrograde step in my opinion.

Try Roadcases USA. I have purchased at least 5 keyboard cases over the past 5 years and a few other cases for other gear. They are straight forward and will build exactly to your specs, so you can add as much padding as you like. There are also multiple levels of protection, but all are wood with a colored laminate.

Unfortunately they don't ship outside the USA, but thanks the for the suggestion!
