Recommendatin for inexpensive monitors

Post by bratan »

Could you recommend good but inexpensive (around $300) powered monitors? Not for professional use, just to hear keyboard... Would be nice if they sounded good too

The KRK Rokit 5 G3 and JBL LSR305 monitors are very good and are under $300. For about $100, the Mackie CR3 can't be beat!

I was in Guitar Center last week and the KRK Rokit 8 stood out. I didn't think any of the 5" cones had enough bass. At first the Rokits sounded little flat so I boosted treble and bass on them and I was impressed.
