I was looking into getting this Breath Controller:
USB Midi Breath Bite Controller 2
http://www.tecontrol.se/products/usb-mi ... ntroller-2
I sent them an e-mail to see if there would be a compatibility issue, and this is what they had to say:
"Thank you for your interest in our products.
We are sorry to tell you that our products will not work with your keyboards
since they don't have a MIDI class compliant USB host port.
We are only aware of one keyboard that has such a port, Korg Kronos.
We will some time on the future provide a converter from USB to MIDI.
Hope to see you back then.
Really? So how do you guys use the USB Breath Controllers then!

That is the solution; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTu6soq2j_k + https://jamstik.com/products/puc
You can also use fine with any midi controllers in Pa4x, Pa3x, Pa600...Pa1X, like https://jamstik.com/ , plus its WIRELESS
I know too many but I think that is worth it

Theoretical, the easiest solution would sport must come from who produced USB Midi Breath Bite Controller 2 ... in my opinion!
I have already started an "ambitious" project for several months, RIP sounds from VSTi like https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3GLpH ... e2nsRrllMg , i used ESC and Cubase 9 Pro for editing, and the results are exceptional in Pa4x if you use writing as midi the jamstik+!
With midi, it is like me I bag over your family and you're put over my family, if there is not working protocol are not really the real solutions... I apologize for my joke!

Hi Daniel,
Oh yeah, I'm aware of these USB hubs, but because TEcontrol didn't bring up a basic solution like this, and decided to lose a potential customer just like that, I kind of thought this is probably not compatible with their controller.
How do you like the wireless controller?
Sorry, I didn't really get the joke as it probably got lost in translation but still I thought it was funny.

Hi,
If you are referring to Pa3x / Pa4x this will not work, because the USB input of these keyboards is not compatible
I tested already with my 1st generation TEC USB breath controller
by the way, it works directly with the KRONOS (tested also with my old X version)
I don't have any of these keyboards any more, but the TEC is working directly with my mac + SWAM engins violins/viola ....etc
Regards

Yes, that's also what they said as well. I wasn't really going to use it with any keyboard to be honest. I will get it to use it with my orchestral library for sure. I don't think they have a dealer in the US. I'll probably have to get it through their own website.laurance wrote:Hi,
