Very Unprofessional - Shame on Korg

Post by gkthomas »

I just made a purchase for Korg pa600 Indian Styles and sounds for $250(in US). Only received a download link. No further directions or email. Tried to Install, But unsuccessfull. its says copyrighted material unable to install. Checked with posts from Korg India, and understood that I need a micro SD card supplied by korg in the slot in order for the styles to complete installation. But the purchase process never talked about this. Never said they will supply an SD card as part of the purchase. If korg dont supply SD card, I cant get this thing work.
Very unprofessional from Korg Side. I am trying to contact korg USA tomorrow to check whether they ship the SD card or not.

You just failed to read all the information on the Korg PA Store web site ...

Pa600 Indian Sounds and Styles

This download contains 82 Styles and 37 Sounds useful for traditional and modern Indian music. It is compatible with the Pa600 Professional Arranger.

Please click here for a complete list of the included Sounds and Styles.

Note: When you purchase these Styles, you will receive a .ZIP file containing a .SET file which can be loaded onto your Pa600. A microSD card will also be mailed to the address specified in your account.

The .SET file can be loaded onto your Pa600 via USB media, but you MUST have the microSD card installed in order to access the content. Please refer to your Pa600’s documentation for instructions on loading content from USB media and installing the microSD card.

Below are some YouTube links with content related to this library:

I think you owe Korg an apology.

Yes, I failed to read some information. However If you purchase from any professional website , you will be directed to follow up directions via webpage or email notifications. I did not receive both. The store website itself is a crap. Not professional at all.

I don't owe an apology to Korg, but Korg owe to me. I talked to one person at the support and he said there is no direct line for support for product and tech support only use support website. He said I have to wait 14-20 business days in order to get the Micro SD Card. Still he is not sure they will send or not. Is it a good service in your view? But in my view its a poor service. I bought products from Yamaha websites, They are 1000 times professional

Hi,
I try to get to shop.korg.com/pa but it redirects me to sign in or create a new account. I did all the process, giving my email address and they sent me a password by email. But after sign in with my email and password I am redirected to a blank page.
Any idea what's going on with this website?
Thanks

It's broke! Give them a couple hours (or days) to get it squared away. ;-)
