to KORG PROGRAMMERS: we need text editor
there are many musicians that needs texts for chords or lyrics or anything. Why we need to write them from PC and put to keyboard. We need to write them directly to keyboard.

We definately dont need YEM... we need a good filesystem that allows you to archive your files better inside the pa4x...tombikadam wrote:we also need Yamaha's YEM like software! KORG read this
I would hate if all the editing and file management would require a PC

have you ever written a longer Text on a touch screen ?
Nothing easier than to do it on a PC-keyboard ( you ca use copy-paste, import texts from your browser etc... )
@tombikadam :
Please, no such a waste software as the YEM. It still ( after more than 2 years ! ) has a lot of bugs... and it´s not very comfortable to work with.
So, both of you, please don´t write "we need", just use "I need"

Thanks,Paolo@Korg wrote:Hi,
Editing text can be done in an easy way on a computer. I suggest to give a look at the "Creating text files (lyrics)" section in the User Manual.
Best regards,
Paolo
but, I want to edit short texts in keyboard. If I need to change any text, I need to transfer to my laptop, then to edit and then to trasnfer again to USB...
if I want to write some chords before the concert or when I dont have laptop with me, I am not able to use.
I think, its a short code to make a text editor for keyboard...

thanks.
