Hi Ronnie

Apologies for this quick reply but am just heading off to work (late!!!)
Please look at the Korg PA4X video manual (3. Styles) - there's a bit about drums editing in it which might answer your questions.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlYmdgOnve8&t=551s (about 10:30 in the video)

(Let us know if doesn't help...)

As Pete says the video steers you towards upper level drum editing, to start to substitute different drum sounds then you need to go to sound play. Select a Drum Kit and copy it to a User Drum kit location ( DK ) tab to the top right on the main screen.

Now you can edit whatever as you need, you will be best to find a kit nearest your needs and work forward from their.

If you head over the the Dynamix Sample site they have some good drums available there which provide more realistic drum samples and again you can build up your own kits using their samples, I can recommend their Nashville Drum Kit

Drum editing is one of the strongest things of the pa4x...

Its incredibly nifty..
and while you can not change sounds (this requires creating a new drum set)
you can eddit each major sound in depth and save it in songbook

Hi Guys

Thanks for the many replies...I guessed how to increase volume ..But to change the snare drum in one kit for another snare from a different kit without changing any other drum sound

Also how do I save drums...... In user kits

And drum samples was mentioned...How are samples put into a drum kit....

Thanks
Ronnie
