NanoPAD2 & Official V2 Korg Video....

Post by D575 »

I may of missed this some where and this has been raised all ready in a recent thread...but after the official V2 video from korg we see in the video the NanoPAD2 directly connected into the upgraded USB host port, as this would seem to now implying you can do this directly with the NanoPAD2 as shown in the video clip has any one tried this? (Specifically NanoPAD2) if so where are the reference application information and instructions for this?....would be good to know and understand more...

Oh sorry - there is a fabulous editor for the NanoPad called "KontrolEditor" free on Korg website - runs on PC/Mac - simple to use and set up.

Cheers

I would be interested in what people use the NanoPad for in conjunction with the PA4X, looking for ideas and inspiration.
Korg PA5X, Kawai MPIISE, Ketron SD4, Roland Integra 7, Motu Audio Express, Cubase 13 Pro, NI Komplete 12 Ultimate (Collectors), Omnisphere, TC-Helicon Voicelive 3, Bose L1m2 (x2) + B2 (x2), Bose S2 Pro.

You can program the X/Y and the 16 pads using Korg's free KontrolEditor editor software - e.g you can program a pad to play a chord, single note etc..etc..

I use my NanoPad2 for my Kronos but now think I may use it a lot more on my PA4X.
I haven't re-programmed mine but I have plugged it in with its current configuration and it works!!!!

Cheers
